RAMP—Raising Achievement by Measuring Performance—helps elementary age learners improve basic academic skills. Children of all ages need to develop fluency in all math skills. RAMP is a proven memory-building technology created at Brigham Young University.

It is used in schools, including Title I schools, in after-school programs, in special education classrooms, and also by children at home. Because RAMP is fun and engaging students often view it as a cool math game RAMP is really about building fluency and memory so children can easily use basic math skills and apply them to higher level math concepts.

The RAMP app for in-home use, is a simplified version of the professional-level version of RAMP developed for schools. The difference is that the school version supplements classroom teaching by building fluency for quick recall of math and other academic skills. The home version can be used independent of the school version or in tandem with a child teacher’s use of RAMP at school.

The school version of RAMP also enables teachers to track student progress over the academic year. Daily assessments guide teachers to modify instruction through frequent evaluation and real-time data intervention recommendations.

RAMP is supplemental to regular classroom teaching activities. It doesn’t replace anything that a teacher is already doing. For more information about the school version of RAMP, search online for RAMP (Raising Achievement by Measuring Performance).
